Competition Details:

The Web Development competition is a platform for teams of three members to showcase their skills in designing and developing captivating websites. Participants create visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces that push the boundaries of creativity and functionality. This competition attracts aspiring web developers who are passionate about creating impactful online experiences.

Rs. 1,500 per Team

Minimum: 2 Members

Maximum: 3 Members

Grading criteria:

1. Participants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
2. Functionality: Does the application fulfill the requirements and demonstrate CRUD operations for the car rental listing?
3. API Design: Is the API structured appropriately and does it handle data interactions effectively?
4. User Interface: Is the user interface intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing visitors to view car details seamlessly?
5. Image Upload (Bonus): If participants implement image upload functionality, it will be considered for bonus points.

Web Development consist of 2 rounds: 

Round:1

1st round will be of development of website.

Round:2

2nd round will be short presentation, student have to present their website to judges (Shortlisted participants of round 1.

Rules:

1. Time Limit: Participants have a total of 3 hours to complete the challenge.
2. Team: Group/Team size can be 2-3 members.
3. Each team must bring their personal laptops for Web application development as everyone is comfortable in their own working environment.
4. Programming Language: You are free to choose any programming language for your application.
5. Technology Stack: Choose frameworks, libraries, or tools that align with the chosen programming language.
6. Internet will be provided to the participants during the competition only to download and use resources such as images, audio, etc.
7. No time or resources will be granted in case of hardware/software crashes. Participants should have a backup plan.
8. Briefing on the task will be done 10 minutes before the competition starts.
9. Participants must submit complete application code files along with images of required functionalities (PNG, JPEG, BMP etc.).
10. Solutions of participants will be judged at the end of the round.
11. The decision of the judge will stand unchallenged.
12. Your team can be disqualified if found using any unfair means during the contest.
13.  Web Development Competition team also reserves the right to disqualify any team and/or nullify his or her result for any violation.
14. Google, documentation, stackoverflow etc. is allowed. 
15. ChatGPT is NOT allowed.

* Winning Prize upto Rs.30K only for 40+ teams will take part of the competition

* Winning Prize upto Rs20K only for 20+ teams will take part of the competition
