The Speed Programming competition is a thrilling event where teams of three members showcase their coding skills in a fast-paced environment. Participants compete against each other to solve programming challenges within a limited time. This competition attracts talented programmers eager to demonstrate their problem-solving abilities under time pressure.

This competition is known as the ultimate programming showdown, where you must demonstrate your conceptual understanding and creative thinking skills to prove your proficiency. To emerge victorious in this competition, each team must successfully navigate through various rounds, each with its unique flavor. So, buckle up and prepare yourself for the exhilarating SPECTRUM “Speed Programming Competition.”

Rules:
● Participants are strictly prohibited from collaborating with individuals outside their team during
the contest. This includes discussing, sharing, or posting problem statements or solutions. Any
contestant caught cheating or attempting to cheat will be disqualified.
● Usage of the Internet, cell phones, USB devices, or any similar devices is strictly prohibited.
Teams found violating this rule will be disqualified.
● Teams can be composed of members from different disciplines or institutes.
● Scores will be based on the number of tasks successfully completed by each team. The team
with the highest number of completed tasks will achieve a better score.
● In the event of a tie, the decision will be based on the team that completed their tasks in the
shortest amount of time.
● The programming languages allowed in the competition are C, C++, Java, Python, Ruby, and
JavaScript.
● The competition will consist of two rounds: a league round and a final round.
● The decisions made by the judges will be final.
Winning Criteria:
● The team with the highest score (maximum number of correct solutions) will be declared the
winner.
● If multiple teams score the same number of points, priority will be given to the team that
submitted their answers earliest.
Resources Provided:
● The competition will be conducted in a lab, with each team being allocated a PC.
● Paper and pencil will be provided to each team member for logic building.
Rounds:
● Two rounds will be held on day 1.
● The final round will take place on day 2.
